6/6/2001 Aqua Terra Consultants, Decatur, GA On a Windows NT machine, be sure you have logged in as administrator before starting the installation. The help files in this package require Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer. If you get a message about needing a newer version of hhctrl.ocx or if help is not working, you also need to download and run: http://hspf.com/pub/misc/hhupd.exe If you have already installed an earlier version of GenScn, WDMUtil, or WinHSPF, uninstall the earlier version before installing this version. When un-installing, you may be asked whether to remove shared system files. It should be safe to answer "Remove All" and let the system figure out which files are safe to remove. Since some system files are included in this package, you may need to restart Windows after some files have been updated. After restarting, continue the installation by running the installer again. Troubleshooting Potential Installation Problems: If you see an error about ComCat.dll (Unable to register the DLL), click Ignore. The installation should proceed successfully. After installation this package will occupy approximately 90 megabytes of disk space. Most of the disk space (up to 70 megabytes, depending on which system files already exist) is needed in the Windows system directory, generally found on drive C. During installation, more space will be needed for temporary files. We reccommend that at least 200 megabytes of free space exist on the Windows system drive before starting installation. If you are using MapObjects LT in a development environment, you will need to reinstall it after installing this program because of the licensing scheme used by ESRI.
